Shatner's World, January 13, 2013, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center
The Shat is a consummate performer, and he had no trouble holding my interest as he spent almost two hours uninterrupted on the stage. (He's sure spry for a 81-year-old!) This one man show followed the outline of his autobiography Up Till Now (2008), but did not repeat the material as much as enhance it. Frequent photos and video clips from his career broke up the monologue. To my delight, he even showed a video clip from the documentary William Shatner's Gonzo Ballet about the work Margo Sappington created for the Milwaukee Ballet to his album Has Been.
